Here are just a few pictures of Morgan since she has had her surgery. It's been 1 1/2 weeks and she is really starting to show her smile again. She has to wear the nose stent for about 2 more weeks and then at night for 3 months. It falls out every night and taping doesn't help. I truly believe Morgan knows she is home now. She is falling asleep in her crib during nap time and it only takes about 10 minutes to get her asleep at night now. It is just amazing. She loves bath time now also. The trick of me getting in there with her did wonders. She loves to splash. She thinks it's so funny. Tomorrow, we are going to get blood drawn to see where shes at with her immunizations. I really hope some of them took. It just kills me when she hurts. It's worse cause she doesn't understand what is going on. I keep telling myself, "atleast she won't remember most of the things she's going through right now". That helps me get through it. Thursday, we are seeing our social worker for the first post placement visit. We've got a busy week. Take care everyone. Until next time...

We finally met Myah!
Last wednesday we met Leslie, Mark, Dayton and Myah. Leslie is Ruth's cousin that had adopted Myah from China also. Myah is almost 3 years old. It was so great to finally meet them. They brought Morgan a little pastel ladybug, that was so adorable. They got along so great. Leslie helped me a great deal before going to China and while I was in China. It was so wonderful to finally meet her and her wonderful family.
We are Back Home
Well, we made it back to Florida last night with no problems. Sorry, I couldn't post a lot in Michigan. I've got so many pictures, I don't know where to begin. Saturday Ruth made my favorite spaghetti dinner. Jeff and Mary came over to see little Morgan. We all had a great time. Morgan did real well meeting everyone. Sunday, Morgan got to go to dad and Ruth's church in Michigan and meet the sunday school class that has been praying for her and she played in the nursery while church was going. She had a great time. The church is the one that let dad and Ruth borrow a highchair and a pack and play while we stayed there, which was great. We then went to Aunt Suzie's and gram and gramps house and had a little lunch with a welcome morgan cake, which she loved! Morgan really took to her new grandma and grandpa, which I was so grateful for. It will probably take me a few days to get everything up to date, sorry, Morgan will only take about an hour nap each day, so that doesn't give me a lot of time and when she sleeps at night, I want to sleep as much as I can also.

Surgery went Well
Hello everyone. Morgan's surgery was a great success! She was so pitiful. She has a stent in her left nostril to try and hold up that side of her nose. She will have to wear that off and on for about 3 months. she has little no no splints on her arms, so she won't touch her face. I feel so bad for her. She is a little swollen today on her left side, but she looks great. I have to tell you, I loved her old face, so it's hard to get used to her having a full lip now. She is eating wonderfully, of course. She slept all day yesterday and kept me up all night. That was not fun, but she just couldn't get comfortable. They gave her some tylenol with codeine, which helps, but I think she is just mad! Poor thing. Atleast the hard part is over for now. Thanks for all the prayers. I will be sure to post pictures as soon as I get back to Florida. She really does look great. Lots of snow here now. We had a jammie day today and got movies, so that was fun. Be home soon. Love to everyone.
