Dress Up

This past weekend, it was such a beautiful saturday, and I was just dying to get Morgan in the tutu that I had specially made for her. I took about 90 images. It was so much fun! I really think Morgan had a great time also. She was crawling all over the backyard and loved the fountain. What a great day. I need another tutu now for another photo shoot. How fun!

First Week Back to Work

Well, we survived the first week back at work. It was a rough one. Morgan was really upset with me. It was good to be back at work. I missed her greatly, but I think we both need that seperation and she needs to socialize. She's very attached, so I think this will really help her blossom. Every morning, she will cling to my shirt and just scream. When Debbie takes her, she holds her arm out, like "mama, come save me". It's so sad. I know she is safe and happy where she is at during the day though. By thursday afternoon, Morgan was much happier and let me hold her and love on her. It was killing me during the week. friday, we got to spend the day together, so she was much happier. I dread monday! I took a few pictures this week. One is of me brushing Morgan's gums. She just loves it! I hate to get it in a picture cause I will be using that when she gets older and hates brushing her teeth. The other one is her riding on her little ladybug that my aunt Teddy and uncle Wayne got her. I want to dress her all up this weekend and just take a bunch of pictures. We'll see how that goes.

Easter Package from Nana Ruth and Grandpa

An Easter package arrived yesterday for the little bug. She was so excited, before we could get through the door, she was tearing at the paper on the outside of the box. It was so funny. Her grandpa and nana Ruth sent her a beautiful basket full of all kinds of stuff. She got socks, three outfits, ladybug plate, cup, silverware, hat, sandals, purse, sunglasses, teddy grahams, and a chick that chirps when you hold it. Morgan just loved going through all the stuff. She is going to be a riot at christmas, I can just see it now. I just love the tin with the ladybugs on it. Ruth, where do you find this stuff??? Thank you Nana Ruth and grandpa. Love to you!

Sunny had her foal

This week has been so busy. One more week left until work begins again. My horse, Sunny, had her baby this week. That was a great experience for Morgan. She loves the horse, but I'm not really sure she understands why all of a sudden this little baby is with her now. We didn't get to see the baby born, but we saw her about 8 hours later. She is so cute. It was just like Bambi, she was so shaky and unsteady. It's so funny, when you get near her to try and touch her, she tries really hard to buck you, but she just doesn't have enough strength.

Lowry Park Zoo

On Friday, we went to Lowry Park Zoo with some of Morgan's little playmates. We all had such a great time. Morgan was not interested in the zoo in Guangzhou, China, so I thought we would go, stay half a day and be home. Not the case! She loved it. She loved playing in the fountains, where the water comes out at you and she loved the merry go round. The girl that ran it, fell in love with Morgan, and let us ride a few times for free. Morgan also touched stingrays. She thought that was just great. I would put her hand in the water and the stingrays would float under her hand and she would reach her body up and just scream and then laugh. Then she wanted to do it again. We had to almost pry her away from the tank. Morgan is just blossoming. it's wonderful to see her happy and have so much fun. She also had ice cream, which she loves now. I'm trying real hard to keep her away from all the bad things we all eat, but ice cream is something everyone needs once in awhile.

1st Playdate with Abi and Noah

What a great band

Such a happy baby!

Morgan met Abi and Noah today for the first time. She had so much fun. As soon as we got to Debbie's house, Morgan was just crawling all over the floor. It was just amazing. She doesn't just crawl at anybody's house. It's such a blessing. I've been so terrified about Morgan adjusting to her new daytime home and it was like she knew. I think she realizes how much I love this family and just felt right at home. I couldn't be happier. On the way home, Morgan was so exhausted, she fell asleep. It was a great day!
